Senior Sales and Marketing Engineer

Summary: Zenith Steel Fabricators is an ISO 9001:2008 Company that specializes in the Design, Fabrication and Erection of all al types of structural steel works. 

The works that Zenith undertakes ranges in types and size including industrial, commercial, religious, institutional, governmental and private clients.  

Zenith’s high commitment to quality through its ISO 9001:2008 certification has enabled it to capture a large market both within Kenya and the surrounding countries including Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Ghana. 

We are looking to fill the position of Senior Sales and Marketing Engineer. 

Reporting to the Executive Director you will be responsible for: 

  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for the different market segments
• Develop good commercial relationships with Architects Engineers and Contractors and tailor solutions to their needs.
• Work closely with independent distributors of industrial products to maximize opportunities for sales.
• Supervise Technical Sales Representatives and lead the achievement of the national sales volumes.
• Ensure that the Company is always represented at Industry Associations and institutional functions.
• Liaise with Operations Manager to ensure that the defined tender process is followed and completed.
• Provide customer support in design assistance, project estimates/ quotes, project proposal and solution presentations.
• Ensure quality customer service as a key to the sales process

Qualification and experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in the of field of Sales & Marketing
• Bsc. Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• A diploma in sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
• Understands technical issues
• Engineering / Architectural background is an added advantage
• Prior experience in a construction / manufacturing company
