Our client seeks to recruit dynamic, results driven Travel Consultants
 

The position: Reporting to the Tours Operations Manager and the Head of Branch on day to day operations, the role holder will proactively promote and sell holiday and /or business travel products to personal and corporate clients both local, regional and international. 

The role holder will champion superior customer experience for Highlight Travel clients.

Key responsibilities:

Planning, tailoring, pricing and selling of holiday packages to both individual and corporate clients.Maintain and improve process efficiency and quality standards adherenceMonitor competitor activities and gather market intelligence on all products and services including obtaining of customer feedback.Co-ordinate with marketing department in developing annual sales and marketing plans.Maintain excellent business relationship and rapport with clients.Cross selling of ancillary products and services.Ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures including regulatory requirements.Working with the tours team to deliver exceptional business performanceShare knowledge, experience and best practice with other team membersProvide cover for other team members when requiredPerform any other duty that may assigned by  management

Qualification and Experience

Graduate in the Tour/Travel Industry from a recognised institution.IATA Advanced diploma in Travel and Tours management or related fieldAt least Three years’ experience in the industry as a Travel Consultant

Other qualification

Knowledge of the Company products, services and policiesDetailed knowledge of the company and industry tour policies and proceduresExcellent knowledge of the industry productsGood geographical knowledge of tour destinationsWorking knowledge of legislation covering the Tours and Travel industry
