Vacancy: Area Business Manager

The role of the Area Business Manager will initiate and maintain strong relationships with key clients assuring high level of responsiveness towards these clients.

The incumbent will also develop and implement sales strategy for the region.

Specific Responsibilities



Participate in conducting internal analysis of the department by providing data related to the distribution sales performance of the region.
Continuously appraise and report on distributors’ Networks, gaps and opportunities.
Maintain and update Distributors database containing all the details related to distributors of the specified region.
Ensure that all the Distributors in the particular region are aware of the various products.
Monitor the sales performance of distributors and track the sales of various products sold by the Distributors.
Ensure reports are prepared as per schedule and required format.
Ensure stock out are prevented at Distributors site by providing replenishment of the stock on schedule once the order is confirmed.
Ensure timely payment by Distributors of the region.
Ensure promotional activities done by marketing team covers Distribution sales channel and will assist marketing team in conducting those activities.
Liaise with delivery person to ensure that deliveries to Distributors are done as per schedule.
Assist Distributors in formulating their sales plan, promotions, reporting etc.
Share market intelligence regarding competitor activities, new products and new customer demands with the team.
Person Specification

Knowledge, Training and Qualifications
Degree in a Business Related field or Equivalent.
4 Years Team Management Experience Minimum.
Strong business development and strategy formulation
Be able to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong communication, project management and organizational skills.
Retail, Consumer marketing or sales background or proven knowledge of digital consumer selling channels.
Possess a personal passion for marketing, customer relationship, technology, partners and satisfaction.
Negotiation and influencing skills that gain successful outcomes for the company.
High levels of energy, drive, creativity and innovation
Demonstrate excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Organized, analytical and computer literate.
Self-motivated and self-driven individual with prospective personal development within the company.
Skills
Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy in written and financial reports
Good oral and written communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, both within and outside the organisation
Discretion in the handling of politically sensitive and confidential information
Ability to use standard Microsoft packages (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other database packages
The Candidate should be willing to work in Tanzania.
