An industrial engineering company is seeking a dynamic, energetic and results oriented Engineering College Intern.
This position is available for a pre-graduate or a recently graduated student to undergo supervised practical training in a mechanical and design engineering field.
This internship has opportunity to lead to full-time employment as a Mechanical Engineer, with hands-on mechanical experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Designing, fabricating and assembling all forms of mechanical devices from initial concept to completion.
- Modification and customization of commercial products as well as providing after market services.
- Ability to conduct maintenance evaluations
- Updating customer information in the system
- Ensuring high level customer service.
- Diagnose failures and potential failures of electro-mechanical devices.
- Learn assembly techniques, mistake proofing, and part design planning.
- Write standard work instructions to describe assembly processes in detail.
- Make design and manufacturing improvement suggestions
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy or in their last year of study.
- Previous Internships in the manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Computer Application.
- Knowledge in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
- High Customer orientation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to follow general and detailed instructions as well as organizational policy and procedures.
