Senior Structural Draughtsman

We are looking to fill the position of Senior Structural Draughtsman. 

In this role, you will;

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Technical drawings for steel fabrication projects
• Ensure that all fabricated products are in line with the drawings
• Monitor product quality and to continually train staff in improved fabrication technique
• Work directly with engineering staff, sales staff and customers to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions.

Qualification and experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience  in structural steelwork detailing in Tekla and equally experienced in AutoCAD
• Proven experience of building structures according to IS codes
• Minimum Diploma in Engineering
• A sound understanding of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
• Good knowledge of structural drafting processes and procedures in a steel fabrication company
• Excellent use of English language for written and verbal communications.
